Welcome to Group Adventure Headquarters at NOC, with more than 35 years experience working with groups of all types on whitewater rafting trips, mountain bike rides and other outdoor adventures. Summer camps. Corporate teams. Family reunions. So many groups have chosen NOC for rafting adventures, unique meetings, teambuilding challenges and mostly, for FUN! The staff at NOC applies its years of experience as an industry leader to help your group achieve its goals, no matter the number or logistical requirements.
Choices: You Got 'Em!
A host of guided activities are available to groups of all ages through NOC's Group Adventure Programs: - Alpine Tower Climbing: 50' tall climbing structure with over 26 route options. Unique design offers accessibility for physically challenged participants. Half- and full-day programs for groups of 10 to 24.
- Whitewater Rafting: Seven Southeastern rivers to choose from, half-day and full-day trip options. On some rivers, any size group can be accommodated. It is also possible to incorporate teambuilding exercises on raft trips.
- Discovery Hikes: Small groups navigate short distances between staffed checkpoints with a compass and map. Checkpoints offer opportunities to learn about identifying plants and Leave-No-Trace outdoor ethics.
- Kayak & Canoe Instruction: 35+ years of world renowned paddling instruction. Build confidence and learn paddling basics.
- Recreational Lake Touring: Guided half- and full-day nature tours in easy-to-paddle kayaks. Observe wildlife and learn natural history of the Great Smoky Mountains.
- Team-Building Initiatives: Ground-based problem-solving activities designed for teambuilding and leadership training. Skill development for real-world applications.
- Mountain Biking: Guided trips tailored to meet your group's needs and skill level. Quality mountain bikes and helmets from NOC's full-service Bike Shop.
- Ropes Challenge Course: Individuals and teams choose challenging 20 or 40 foot elevation circuits. Full-day activity for groups of 10 to 24.
