Extreme Adventures of Vermont is owned and operated by Willy Williams and the guides. Willy was born and raised in the hills of Vermont. He grew up in the small town of Andover where he now runs Extreme Adventures of Vermont. Willy attended Green Mountain College in Poultney, VT where he received a BS in Education and Adventure Recreation.
Willy started out teaching kids with special needs. He then decided to pursue his dream of starting an adventure business for adults and kids. In 2004 he launched Extreme Adventures of Vermont and Vermont Adventure Camps. It has now grown to be one of New England's premiere adventure companies keeping a small and personable environment. He has spent many years biking the back roads and climbing the local ledges as well as kayaking and canoeing Vermont's lakes and rivers.
Kristen Coak
Kristen is currently working as a guide at EAVT and is the summer camp director. She attended Green Mountain College in Vermont for Adventure Recreation. Kristen has a passion for ice climbing, flat water kayaking, and cooking on the trail. She also enjoys a wide variety of outdoor activities. At EAVT, she guides hiking, kayaking, rafting, rock and ice climbing excursions.
